Pilot Officer Norman Shnier, RCAF Navigator R140698 Parachuted into Germany, and Prisoner of War after being shot down near Berlin as a Navigator in a Halifax bomber during the night of August 31 / September 1, 1943

The following pages are some wartime remembrances of Norman Shnier. He served overseas when he was 23 to 25 years old, and was shot down 33 days after his brother Clifford Shnier was also shot down (but did not survive).
